Any Dog Rescue of Vallejo wishes to help any dog that needs assistance regardless of shape, size, age, or color including all mix breeds. We assist Terriers, Chihuahuas, Labs, Shepherds, Collies, Boxers, Pitbulls, Mastiffs etc. either getting them out of shelters to save lives, finding better homes if they are being abused, or assisting their current home with pet coaching to improve their quality of life.

We are PITBULL FRIENDLY.
Don’t judge a book by its cover! There has been a lot of controversy about this breed but mostly, it comes down to the responsibility of the owner to make sure their dogs are fixed, licensed, trained, and properly socialized. They are quite strong and training should be MANDATORY. If this is done properly, you will find that pitbulls are some of the best dogs. But, in the wrong hands they can be mis-handled and mis-used. It’s important to do background checks, minimize backyard breeding (causes over-population) and eliminate genetic in-breeding and breeding for aggression (causes temperament & behavioral issues).

We don’t discriminate.
Every breed has its good and bad dogs. We believe that each and every dog is a unique individual that should be judged on its character and not be pigeon-holed by breed, just as we shouldn’t discriminate based on culture. There have been countless incidences involving various breeds that don’t quite make the headlines.
